My name is Laura Adams, and I’m the owner and Certified Travel Advisor at Telamon Travel. If you’re here, it means you are in the early stages of planning a vacation that must be really important to you, and I’m so glad you’ve reached out.

For me, traveling isn’t just about taking pictures and checking places off of a bucket list, it is about choosing to invest in your most important relationships, deliberately slowing life down, and letting the magic of a place inspire you and breathe fresh life into your spirit as well as your closest relationships. Helping my clients create bright, meaningful memories that they will reflect on often and carry with them for the rest of their lives is what gives me goosebumps when I go to work, and why I do what I do.

It’s never just about the logistics of travel (although I handle that as well). It’s about getting to know you and making sure you get goosebumps too.

Since founding Telamon Travel in 2019, I have drawn upon over a decade of industry expertise to transform travel planning into an effortless and rewarding experience. By working closely with my clients, I bring clarity, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail to craft truly exceptional journeys. My personalized approach allows me to deeply understand my clients’ dreams and translate them into unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime vacations. Guided by integrity, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, I ensure every step of the journey is as delightful as the destination itself.

I reside in Southern California with my two beloved rescue dogs and a spirited calico cat. My passion for exploration has taken me across the globe, creating vibrant memories that decorate both my heart and home. Among my many adventures, Ireland and Cuba hold a special place as my favorite destinations so far.

The Process

  • Inquire

    Once you’re ready to start planning and fill out the form found on my website, we’ll set up a time to get to know each other via phone or virtual call. This will allow me to get to know you on a personal level and I can have a clear understanding of how to best serve and come alongside you.

  • Save Your Spot

    When you decide to move forward and begin planning your vacation, I will send you a client information form to set you up in my system. As soon as this is completed, you are officially a part of the Telamon Travel family and your vacation is added to my calendar.

  • Trip Research & Proposals

    First, you’ll gain access to your client portal. Then, it’s my time to get to work matching the feedback you’ve given me to the right experience and destination for you! I use my expertise and work with destination partners to present your customized itinerary to you.

  • Tweak & Revise

    After you take time to review your proposal, we will make necessary adjustments based on your personal preferences and lock in your official plan!

  • Book Your Vacation

    Pop the bubbly! Your deposit is made and your vacation is officially in motion! I will be there for you step by step from now until you return. All that’s left for you to do is get the countdown started!

Service Fees

When I launched Telamon Travel, I chose to work solely on commission—meaning there’s no extra cost or service fee to you. Here’s how it works: 

  • Every price or package you see online...

    ...includes commission.

  • If you book direct...

    ...the supplier keeps their commission.

  • If you book through an online site...

    ...they get it.

  • When you book through a travel advisor like me...

    ...I earn that commission—at no extra cost to you.

What’s the difference between an online booking engine and a travel advisor?

In a word: service. I offer personal attention and 24/7 support before, during, and after your trip. With online booking engines, you’re often left on hold when something goes wrong. I’m here to handle it for you.

A Note On Pricing

My goal is to find you the best value, not just the lowest price. I treat your budget with care and respect, and my recommendations reflect what’s truly best for your trip. Please note that I’m often unable to provide line-item pricing, as most vacation packages include many components bundled together.
