My name is Laura Adams, and I’m the owner and Certified Travel Advisor at Telamon Travel. If you’re here, it means you are in the early stages of planning a vacation that must be really important to you, and I’m so glad you’ve reached out.
For me, traveling isn’t just about taking pictures and checking places off of a bucket list, it is about choosing to invest in your most important relationships, deliberately slowing life down, and letting the magic of a place inspire you and breathe fresh life into your spirit as well as your closest relationships. Helping my clients create bright, meaningful memories that they will reflect on often and carry with them for the rest of their lives is what gives me goosebumps when I go to work, and why I do what I do.
It’s never just about the logistics of travel (although I handle that as well). It’s about getting to know you and making sure you get goosebumps too.

Since Telamon Travel’s inception in 2019, and with over a decade of industry experience, Laura has worked closely with travelers, bringing clarity and expertise to the planning process to free them to have wildly successful and altogether delightful experiences from start to finish. By working one-on-one with her clients, she is able to get to know them on a personal level and to help bring to life once-in-a-lifetime vacations. For her, integrity, honesty, and a commitment to excellence are the three pillars of her life and business.
Laura lives in Southern California with her two rescue pups and feisty calico cat. Over the years, she has been fortunate enough to travel extensively, making colorful memories that are not just plastered all over the walls of her home, but also all over her heart. So far, her favorite destinations have been Ireland and Cuba.
Once you’re ready to start planning and fill out the quote form found on my website, we’ll set up a time to get to know each other via phone or Zoom call. This will allow me to get to know you on a personal level and I can have a clear understanding of how to best serve and come alongside you.
When you decide to move forward and begin planning your vacation, I will send you a client information form to set you up in my system. As soon as this is completed, you are officially a part of the Telamon Travel family and your vacation is added to my calendar.
First, you’ll gain access to your client portal. Then, it’s my time to get to work matching the feedback you’ve given me to the right experience and destination for you! I use my expertise and work with destination partners to present your customized itinerary to you.
After you take time to review your proposal, we will make necessary adjustments based on your personal preferences and lock in your official plan!
Pop the bubbly! Your deposit is made and your vacation is officially in motion! I will be there for you step by step from now until you return. All that’s left for you to do is get the countdown started!
When I launched Telamon Travel, I opted to work solely on commission. This means there is no additional charge or service fee to you for using my services. Here’s a brief breakdown of how commission works in the travel industry.
Commission is included in EVERY price or package you see online.
What’s the difference between an online booking engine and a travel advisor?
Simple: Personal attention. It’s not uncommon for issues to arise while traveling. When you have a trusted travel advisor, they are available to you 24/7 to assist you throughout your trip. You won’t find this with online booking engines; and often will spend hours on hold trying to speak to a live person.
My job is to find you the best value for your vacation, although not necessarily the lowest cost. Pricing, while very important, is only one of many factors I consider when putting together the best package. I take my clients’ budgets very seriously and treat them with the same respect I would want my own vacation budget treated, but ultimately I keep your best interests in mind and make my travel recommendations with all relevant factors considered. Please note: I am often unable to provide line-item pricing, as most packages consist of many components.
