Booking Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between Laura Adams, an independent travel advisor operating under Telamon Travel LLC and affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. (“Fora”) (collectively referred to as the “Travel Advisor,” “we,” or “us”), and you, the purchaser of travel services (“Client” or “you”).
Use of Services
By engaging our services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age and authorized to enter into this Agreement and make travel bookings;
- All information provided (for yourself or others) is true, accurate, and will be kept up to date;
- You are authorized to act on behalf of all travelers included in your booking; and
- You agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable supplier terms.
Independent Advisor Relationship
Laura Adams operates Telamon Travel LLC as an independent travel business and is affiliated with Fora as a host agency.
- The Travel Advisor is not an employee, agent, or representative of Fora.
- Fora acts solely as a host agency and technology platform and is not a travel service provider.
- Fora is not a party to this Agreement for any purpose.
- You expressly waive any claims against Fora arising from or related to travel arrangements, advisor services, or this Agreement.
Services and Planning Fees
The Travel Advisor provides personalized travel planning and booking services, including accommodations, transportation, cruises, tours, and related travel arrangements.
- A planning fee may apply and will be confirmed in writing before services begin.
- Planning fees compensate for professional time, research, itinerary design, and coordination services.
- Planning fees are separate from supplier payments.
- Planning fees are non-refundable once services have commenced.
- If the Travel Advisor determines that the requested itinerary cannot be accommodated, any planning fee collected will be refunded in full.
- Prior to the commencement of services, clients are required to review and execute a separate Travel Planning Agreement governing the scope of services, fees, responsibilities, and terms of engagement.
Role of the Travel Advisor
The Travel Advisor acts solely as a planner and intermediary between you and third-party travel suppliers (“Suppliers”).
- Suppliers are independent entities responsible for providing travel services.
- The Travel Advisor does not control supplier operations and cannot guarantee availability, pricing, or fulfillment of special requests.
- You acknowledge that all booked services are subject to separate agreements between you and the applicable Supplier.
Travel Bookings and Pricing
Rates and Availability
All pricing is subject to change until confirmed with payment. Suppliers may utilize dynamic pricing.
Post-Purchase Price Changes
Prices may increase due to supplier-imposed costs, taxes, fuel surcharges, currency fluctuations, or other factors outside the Travel Advisor’s control.
Currency Fluctuations
International pricing may vary due to exchange rate changes.
Payment
Payments may be made directly to Suppliers or processed through Fora on behalf of Suppliers.
Deposits
Deposits may be required to secure reservations and are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the Supplier.
Authorization
By providing payment information, you authorize the Travel Advisor to arrange payment with Suppliers on your behalf.
Personal Information
You authorize the use of your personal information as necessary to facilitate travel bookings and related services.
Credit Card Authorization and Disputes
By providing a payment method, you confirm that you are an authorized user.
You agree:
- Not to initiate chargebacks to circumvent supplier cancellation policies or penalties.
- To promptly notify the Travel Advisor of any issues to allow for resolution with the Supplier.
- That chargebacks may only be pursued where services were not provided or were materially misrepresented.
Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing and approving all travel details before booking.
- Understanding supplier terms, including cancellation and refund policies.
- Ensuring all traveler names and documentation are accurate.
- Safeguarding passports, tickets, confirmations, and other travel documents.
The Travel Advisor is not responsible for errors once documents have been reviewed and approved.
Cancellations and Modifications
All bookings are subject to supplier-specific terms and conditions.
- Cancellation and change penalties may apply.
- Requests should be submitted with at least 48 hours’ notice whenever possible.
- The Travel Advisor is not responsible for penalties resulting from untimely requests.
- Refunds, if applicable, are subject to supplier approval and processing timelines.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included unless expressly purchased.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance coverage.
Without travel insurance, you accept full financial responsibility for cancellations, interruptions, delays, medical expenses, and other unforeseen events.
Documentation and Entry Requirements
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required travel documentation.
This includes:
- Valid passports
- Visas
- Vaccination requirements
- Entry permits
- Any other destination-specific requirements
All travel documents must match legal identification exactly.
Denied entry for any reason does not entitle you to a refund.
Travel Advisories and Risk
Travel involves inherent risks, including health, safety, weather, transportation, and geopolitical factors.
- Government advisories do not override supplier cancellation policies.
- Personal concerns regarding travel do not automatically qualify for refunds.
- By proceeding with travel, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Flights and Transportation
Airline schedules, routes, and operating carriers may change without notice.
The Travel Advisor is not responsible for:
- Airline schedule changes
- Missed connections
- Delays or cancellations
- Additional costs resulting from airline disruptions
Failure to check in or follow ticketed flight sequences may result in cancellation of the itinerary.
You are responsible for confirming flight details before departure.
Complaints and Resolution
Any concerns during travel should be reported directly to the Supplier at the time they occur.
If the issue remains unresolved, you agree to notify the Travel Advisor promptly so assistance may be provided.
Failure to report issues in a timely manner may limit available remedies.
Limitation of Liability
The Travel Advisor acts solely as an intermediary for independent Suppliers.
The Travel Advisor shall not be liable for:
- Supplier actions, errors, omissions, delays, or failures
- Personal injury
- Property damage
- Loss of enjoyment
- Financial losses arising from travel services provided by Suppliers
Any recovery against the Travel Advisor shall be limited to the amount of commission or planning fees actually received.
Force Majeure
The Travel Advisor shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather
- Pandemics
- Government actions
- Civil unrest
- Labor disputes
- Transportation disruptions
- Acts of terrorism
Seller of Travel Disclosures
Telamon Travel LLC is registered as a Seller of Travel in:
- California (CST #2151995-50)
- Florida (ST43973)
Registration as a Seller of Travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.
Telamon Travel LLC is not a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.
Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any dispute arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in San Diego County, California.
Claims and Legal Limitations
- Any claim must be brought within twelve (12) months of trip completion.
- Claims may only be brought in an individual capacity and not as part of a class action.
- Recovery shall be limited to compensatory damages only.
General Provisions
Modifications
The Travel Advisor reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the services described herein.
Acceptance
By engaging our services and/or confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
